We are in France for our fifth wedding anniversary and my 35th birthday celebrations so naturally lunch with a view at Hotel du Cap was a high priority on the docket!
If you don’t know already, Hotel du Cap-Eden Roc is the gem of the French Riviera, with it’s glistening views of the ocean, pristine grounds and an infamous cliffside pool reserved for only hotel guests and visitors from neighboring mega yachts who want to take a shot at the olympic looking hoops suspended over the blue blue water. It’s most certainly a bucket list hotel stay, but just as lovely for for dinner and a cocktail where you will feel transported into a glamorous Slim Aarons shot, like the one I attempted to recreate myself back when we visited in 2017.
So on our way down from the French countryside, I insisted we stopped here for a chic lunch before making our way into Saint Tropez for the next leg of our trip. I wore this classic cardigan in true American (and French) colors but had to make it more “summer on the riviera” appropriate so I had my tailer chop the sleeves and voilà , the perfect compliment to white linen shorts for a comfortable lunch. The fabric on the cardigan was substantial and I will most definitely be wearing it all year long over white tees, dresses and with jeans and flats!
More to come from the South of France, including a full guide, shortly!
