Our house has so many grays, marbles and blue tones that it desperately needed some warmer elements to brighten the open space. In addition to candy colored trinkets I also wanted more functional storage for the millions of toys Parker has accumulated in his three years so far, so additional cabinet space was an absolute must.
Luckily we found the easiest solution with these combinable units, and we decided to go with three sets to create an extra wide console table to allow lots of storage for Parker and more coffee table books for moi! Sold in sets of 1, 2, 3 or 4, it’s a pretty easy match for whatever space you have and great to know we could alter the size if necessary in the future.
As for accessories I wanted colors, textures, memories and a way to showcase what’s actually inside one of the millions of beautiful coffee tables I’ve collected over the years. My intention being to swap them out based on the season, this one pictured featuring the charming towns that make of the region of Provence, France!
The mix of rattan, bone inlay, green marble, handprinted Ginori and pastel hued taffy warm my senses every sunlit summer evening around Parker’s bath time. At the commencement of the day and our transition into a restful evening. Safe to say it’s accomplished just precisely the feeling I intended to capture! Enjoy xx.
