Influencing is an industry predominantly made for and by women, and hence why it’s still so undervalued by society despite its undeniable presence and deliverables.
Like anything it’s a flawed system, but it’s one born out a purely feminist concept in my opinion, the concept of creators being in full control of their narrative.

We wouldn’t see young women desperate for aesthetic validation if we didn’t consistently throughout history objectify them.
Paris Hilton and all the influencers that have followed her, literally, are not the cause of the’s industry’s flaws, but I have hope that they are in search of making peace with it. I think we can start by taking our power back, particularly the images and stories that refer to us.
