A new film, My week with Marilyn, recounts the experience of a young man’s encounter with the famous starlet, in the making of ‘The Prince and the Showgirl’. The trailer hints at the possible disconnect the icon had with her public persona and her internal self. Despite the verity of that claim, I think we can all agree that our public selves are often not our private selves.
