SUMMMAHHHHH! I am so HAPPY to see you again! This is clearly my absolute favorite season and I can’t wait to get back to the beach, tan lines, lobster rolls, barbecues, drives with the top down, warm summer nights, late sunsets, white dresses, oysters, nights out with good friends, my birthday, denim shorts, ice cream and rosé literally all day. The summer holds such wonderful memories for me as a kid from Chicago, with our four very distinct, strict seasons. Summer meant breaking free from all the rigidity and restraint of slush, chilly evenings and pants. It was a very special and hard earned break from school and snow, and even though I live in sunny Los Angeles now, I still look at the start of the summer season as my well deserved freedom to true rest and frivolity.
