THE MOTHER’S DAY GIFT GUIDE

[bigletter]MAMA holds a lot more meaning since my first Mother’s Day last May, but I’ve always been eager to celebrate the woman I get to call mom. Motherhood continues to feel so much less than what pop culture portrays it to be, the reality being that despite every mom’s individual ability to create her own magic so much of our success depends on our access to resources. In addition to having family to help regularly and a true partner/co-parent in my husband, I consider myself extremely fortunate to have had a great role model of a mother who’s always been so supportive, present and most of all honest about the journey of parenthood.

We are a social group us humans, including the mamas, and we need each other to thrive so my only advice at this point is to rely on one another, don’t be fearful of asking for help or actively trying to find it. Surrounding ourselves with other mamas is truly why I believe the ease of expression has remained a commonly feminine trait!

Also an age old feminine trait; bow adorned accessories…

So if you’re looking to help commemorate our hard work and contribution to this earth, spend the day with us, write a nice note, pick up your wet towel and buy MAMA a new pair of shoes!! xx[/bigletter]
