Because Valentine’s Day is for the girls.
It’s hard to imagine the rosy hues, words of affirmation, chocolate truffles and brilliant floral arrangements don’t have a place in validating some of the most significant relationships we have, with friends. Counter to couple centric culture the concept of Galentine’s Day rings so true in my heart, that we have a special celebration for the people we might not spend everyday with but who bring so much joy, depth and connection to our lives. As someone who has always felt fortunate to have great friends around me prioritizing quality time with them has become more and more challenging after starting a family and business. Making the time I do have to spend with my friends that much more intentional and dare I say, meaningfully fabulous?
Meaning I am. going. all. out.
Less people, more quality, more to spend on cuter parties.
And therefore the balloons felt necessary. Does anyone get the reference? (hint, hint, carrie and miranda circa Sex and the City movie no. 1)
And in addition to my sweet setup I wanted to get my girls something fun and representative of moi perfectly procured and packaged by none other than the chicest gift service in the business, Poppy Gifting.
