SPRING CHEESE PLATE

[bigletter]Spring is upon us and things are changing; the flowers are blooming, the world is opening back up and my pregnant belly is growing bigger and bigger. Times are a changing as they say, but one thing will forever be the same. Alas, my love for cheese plates will always hold tried and true!

This post is coming a tad late, beyond the Passover and Easter holidays that inspired this particular selection of goodies, and in fact this was my contribution to my family’s Passover dinner, a nosh complimented with cocktails while my mother cooked up a yummy meal for us all.

Growing up, appetizers were always an integral part of hosting, and perhaps that is why I never felt motivated to learn to cook. Since early adulthood I’ve been relying on my aesthetically motivated mixology/cheese platter skills and great taste in selecting creations from local patisseries to entertain at home.

About ten years later and this is still the case, enhanced further by my husband’s culinary passion and skill thank goodness.

Enjoy![/bigletter]
