It may be the last day of breast cancer awareness month, but certainly not the last day of the struggle to find a cure for breast cancer. As the granddaughter of a women defeated by breast cancer, the cause will always be near my heart…

Here are some pink inspired paintings that I hope can remind us the end of this disease is near, but the everlasting strength within those who have fought for themselves, others and the future will always be remembered…

[pink strip cloud by Bridgette Bogle]

I love the color in this painting, its bold and original and crowded, perhaps representing the chaos in saving natural resources for the future. Either way, very original, crisp, and makes a statement, everything I love

[synergistic happiness by William Mercado]

What attracted me to this painting was the resemblance to Pucci’s classic prints, however I also have come to like the place each character has in the scene, just like everyone in the world….

[knightmare by Katherine Troisi]
I can see why this work is titled nightmare, layers and layers of intricate weaving, does it symbolize the complexity of emotions, or a web of lies? I think its the product of instant communication created by technology, whether it is a good thing or bad is perhaps in the eye of the beholder…

[circus by Nicole Asendorf]
The texture makes me happy, enlightened by so many pretty blues, pinks, and tints of yellow. True artistry at the hands….

[landscape part VII by Colette Wirz]

Usually I am not a fan landscape art, but this one is abstract enough for my taste…

[early spring by Kristen Spencer]
A splash of color and hope!
