Tweed is essentially the chicest clothing material. Harking back to Coco Chanel’s infamous two piece suits and the jacket that remains one of the most timeless style pieces in American fashion. For some, tweed might seem a bit old school or too thick a material to enjoy, but I will forever keep wearing anything reminiscent of what I consider one of my most basic style obsessions. Fortunately it seems to have survived the test of time and is no longer only accessible at a Chanel boutique. I found this ADORABLE pink tweed skort at none other then Forever 21! Every time I swear I will never go back to that store I find the next miracle. Another great affordable retailer who seems to always be on the tweed jacket train each season is Zara. They design an array of variations of not only jackets but also skirts, dresses and I have even found luck finding some tweed purses there too.
