What i wore in st. Barts

June 2, 2022

Shopping for St. Barts was extremely exciting given I wasn’t fully confident we’d make the trip. I’ve been wanting to visit this chic little island for so long and there were oh so many hoops we had to jump through to make it all happen from childcare for our bébé, to covid testing, to booking multiple flights and coordinating international travel for the first time in a few years; it was a lot! All the details on how to get there, here. (also feather dress pictured above, here).

However we made it and had the absolute best time, in part because St. Barts is such a fabulous and fun island to visit and also because I loved everything I packed to wear so very much!

Of all the tasks in preparation for this trip, putting together an island ready wardrobe was the most significant and the most fun. I quickly realized during the early days of the pandemic that going places was only half of what I loved about travel, planning things to do and what I would wear beforehand added so much more to any trip weather it’s far far away or a girls lunch. So even knowing this destination might not work out didn’t stop me from finding an excuse to enhance my resort wear collection!

And it was most certainly more fun than applying for global entry which you should do asap by the way because it really does make all the difference.

Since I’ve been planning ensembles since December a lot of the fabulous items I found are no longer in stock, like this shell bra top that literally deserves an award and I recommend you get on the email list now for and my adorable bow bikini. However, I did my best to find equitable alternatives and as always message me on the gram if you need more options! Enjoy, xx
