CLASSIC STYLE: FALL-ING BACK TO BASICS

Well it’s finally October… and I couldn’t be more excited. Having the “10” in front of the date tends to add some more legitimacy to my attempt to make Fall happen here in Los Angeles, hence why I would love to get somewhere with cooler temps this month, just so I can wear my favorite sweaters with a bit more satisfaction. As I have mentioned many times before, this theoretical season change really brings wonderful memories back for me. Starting school again with all new clothes that were hard to wear at the end of September given global warming, but that I was oh so excited to try out the first week of school, reminds me a bit of where I am at now, attempting to wear cashmere in 80 degree weather. But eventually, the sun would go down earlier, the breeze would get cooler and the leaves would fall making everything feel as comfortable as it was exciting. And given how comfortable I like to always be brings me back to the basics, the simplest, easiest way for me to dress. Which is where I am today, quite literally Fall-ing back to where I always like to begin, with something easy, familiar, chic, but always in style. Call me basic if you will, or perhaps just loyal? Enjoy.
