[bigletter]Oh what pleasure it is to cozy up on the porch with a blanket and cup of coffee before sinking yourself into a magical place with extraordinary people. Such a luxury to go on holiday and soak in the sun while being transported to another worthwhile destination, full of detail about some special enough place that an author chose to write about it. Or to get through one page of fantasy while simultaneously scarfing down a half-made salad with wet hair, your eyes darting back and forth from the baby monitor to the book, praying he stays asleep before your 17 minute pumping session is over and you have to decide between cleaning up the kitchen or ordering five more things on amazon, if and only if le bébé is still asleep.

Fortunately I started this beach read before baby came, and I thought it was was hard to find time back then!

Well since bringing our little boy home from the hospital I haven’t prioritized a real reading session outside of articles about #bennifer2.0 on Page Six, but I guarantee that when I do I will have quite the selection to choose from. Stacked up next to my bedside are mounds of books, each strictly falling into one of two categories: therapy/trauma, or the one I’m sharing with you all today. Easy, breezy, beachy books that will hopefully inspire all kinds of fun ideas to enhance your summer season that much more. Enjoy for me please! Xx[/bigletter]
