[bigletter]Tis’ the season of sweaters! Especially in LA when it takes quite some time for the beloved coat. Of course it’s hard to tell here in sunny Los Angeles, but the time for something chunky and warm is right given the low temps in the morning, shady afternoons and windy evenings making us all a little more prone to a warm drink at home. This was Parker’s first excursion at one of my favorite spots in Los Angeles, Hotel Bel-Air where the swans swim as you enter and music plays in the swanky bar at night. The restaurant itself isn’t anything special but the place is. Did I mention the swans?! We just stopped in for lunch after music class hoping to shove a few truffle fries down our face before our luck ran out and Parker promptly demanded a piece of bread to suck on. Fortunately that bread and other yummy things at the table saved us from a full on meltdown amongst all the cool and casually dressed Hollywood agents pitching scripts to one another and complaining about the lack of a comparable “restaurant scene” to New York while the menu in front of them literally reads WOLFGANG PUCK.
