[bigletter]Mother’s Day is around corner, as is my baby to be’s due date, and so perhaps this guide is here a tad earlier and the gifts are items I may have already ordered for myself! Becoming a human mama for the first time will be an adventure, but filling a role as narrowly defined as mom just makes me think of all the ways women nurture; from adopting babies, to birthing and nursing, to talking our teens through their first heartache or doing our very best to get pregnant, giving our furry babies the best homes, fostering kiddos in need, bringing our 34 year old Benadryl at 10pm or playing any part of the village it takes to raise one, so many of have showed up as mama in one way or another. And as I prepare to give to birth to my first human child I am full of thoughts about where life will take us, which for my son is hopefully a link back to this blatant long running list of things I love, perhaps my only reason to create these lists online moving forward! And while there’s no predicting the future, I’d predict anything here is likely to put a smile on any mom’s face.[/bigletter] Enjoy. Xx
